Crochet hook roll
I've been doing a lot of crochet lately and I would love to show you all what I have been up to. Alas all of these projects are intended as gifts, so I won't be able to show them until I have given them.
Here is a gift already recieved by it's owner so I am able to share it with you.
It's a crochet hook roll I made for a colleague who frequently gives me small pieces of fabric and lot of other crafty things. I decided to make her a gift with some pieces of fabric she had given me. Like me, she likes to crochet so the choice was easy. I also added some crochet hooks, because she had a hard time finding them in the local stores.

Vintage Birthday Girl
Being occupied with other things, and not really in the mood to celebrate it anyway, I didn't have a clue what I wanted for my birthday.
Luckily for me my family and friends had more inspiration.
My Dad gave me this antique silver pocketwatch, which is a family heirloom.
My sisters gave this lovely vintage 60's leather and snakeskin purse.
And friends gave me this collection of vintage/antique items.
I got more really personal and thoughtful gifts, but it seems that a vintage girl gets a lot of vintage style gifts.

Waiting for a little Diva
My sisters due date is coming very close now and I thought it was a really good excuse to try my hand at one of those cute little babydresses.
When she was here a while ago, we looked at the crocheted dresses I wore when I was a baby.
As she still has her own crocheted babydresses,
I decided that every generation has a right to her own crocheted dress.
My christening gown and a sweet pink baby dress,
which served as the dress of my favorite doll for years.
The dress for my niece is called the Angel Wing Pinafore and the pattern is from designer Maxine Gonser,
who has more, really lovely and cute, patterns.
I found it through Ravelry, I am a Big fan of Ravelry it's not only great for patterns but also for inspiration.

Blocked!
Blocking this shawl was a lot of work especially because I couldn't do the whole shawl at once.
It's almost 2 meters wide and 81 cm high. I left out some rows otherwise it would have been even larger which is way to large for me as I am only a short lady. It weighs 608 grams and that is one of the reasons why I might be tempted to be another version in lightweight wool. Hopefully next time I can keep gauge and proprotions in check.

Art Deco Necklace
I bought this art deco necklace with glass faceted beads a little while ago on Etsy with the intention of reusing the beads for a project. But when it came in today I like it so much that I kept the original design and only restrung it.
I love the simple and elegant look.

Edwardian Shawl finished!
My Edwardian Shawl is finished and ready to be blocked! I was off gauge and made a mistake in the beginning which caused it to not be real triangular shape but I am proud nevertheless as this was my first big and more complicated project.
I would like to give this pattern another try in a lighter woollen yarn appropriate for the gauge in the pattern. To make a lighter and smaller version, true to the pattern. It would make a nice project to work on during the Anton Pieck Parade in December.
