Crochet hook roll
I've been doing a lot of crochet lately and I would love to show you all what I have been up to. Alas all of these projects are intended as gifts, so I won't be able to show them until I have given them.
Here is a gift already recieved by it's owner so I am able to share it with you.
It's a crochet hook roll I made for a colleague who frequently gives me small pieces of fabric and lot of other crafty things. I decided to make her a gift with some pieces of fabric she had given me. Like me, she likes to crochet so the choice was easy. I also added some crochet hooks, because she had a hard time finding them in the local stores.

Vintage Birthday Girl
Being occupied with other things, and not really in the mood to celebrate it anyway, I didn't have a clue what I wanted for my birthday.
Luckily for me my family and friends had more inspiration.
My Dad gave me this antique silver pocketwatch, which is a family heirloom.
My sisters gave this lovely vintage 60's leather and snakeskin purse.
And friends gave me this collection of vintage/antique items.
I got more really personal and thoughtful gifts, but it seems that a vintage girl gets a lot of vintage style gifts.

Waiting for a little Diva
My sisters due date is coming very close now and I thought it was a really good excuse to try my hand at one of those cute little babydresses.
When she was here a while ago, we looked at the crocheted dresses I wore when I was a baby.
As she still has her own crocheted babydresses,
I decided that every generation has a right to her own crocheted dress.
My christening gown and a sweet pink baby dress,
which served as the dress of my favorite doll for years.
The dress for my niece is called the Angel Wing Pinafore and the pattern is from designer Maxine Gonser,
who has more, really lovely and cute, patterns.
I found it through Ravelry, I am a Big fan of Ravelry it's not only great for patterns but also for inspiration.
